JohnMJEver wonder what it's really like to fly a Super Cub to a remote bush landing in Alaska, touch down on a glassy, glacier fed lake or land a ski plane on Mt. McKinley? Do you dream about flying in to a wilderness lake surrounded by mountain spires standing like knights on a chess board to catch Arctic Grayling surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery on Earth?

Don't just take our word for it. Visit our students' web sites listed below. Read their comments and see photos of their actual experiences. We think you'll agree with them that Alaska Float Ratings has the experienced instructors who can make your dream come true.

You may have seen some of Charlie's photos in our Student Testimonials section. Here's a more detailed explanation of his single engine sea rating with us in Moose Pass. It's called "Northern Exposures: Flying Floatplanes".
2 Photos by Franz
Franz is fortunate to be able to come fly with us every other year. Here are a few of his photos . He has flown the overnight Alaska Floatplane Safari to see the bears, as well as an all day Floatplane Safari to fly in a ski plane on Mt. McKinley. Another time he flew with Charles, one of our CFI's, to his remote cabin. And he has flown up to a nearby lake with Dean, one of our CFI's, and caught a grayling.
