Alaska Float Plane Safaris

If you’ve always dreamed of flying a bush plane in Alaska, stop dreaming and make it happen. We now have the Alaska Float Plane Safari for you. Maybe you have your SES rating or you don’t want to get one. And you don’t even need a certificate or a medical. Our new program is so you can be introduced into our world of Bush Flying in Alaska.

We completely plan a Float Plane Safari just for you. Our most popular one is a three day - two night trip. Take one of our planes, and instructor/guide and head out to the remote wilderness of Alaska, the last frontier. Even more exciting is to bring a fellow pilot and take two float planes and instructors, or fly in our Cessna 172 on floats. This three day trip includes room and meals at Stonewood Lodge on Lake Clark. They were open the summer of 2009. One of our students and Darlene had a fantastic time there. The second day fly farther south to see the bears in Katmai National Park. After that you can arrange for a boat and guide at the lodge. And remember, you can fly around, explore, land on different lakes and photograph.

You bring your camera. We will furnish the fishing poles and gear. Your photos could be better even than these photo memories brought back from one of our previous float plane safari adventures.

Student Quotes

Just want to thank you again for the great time I had at your place this past week & to thank you for letting me do it "my way". It couldn't have been more perfect for me, doing three hours or so of the basics with your instructors (all great guys by the way) & then that incredible 3hr+ flight in the mountains with Vern which put it all in perspective for me.
